About Inner Yoga and the Inner Yoga Trust

What is Inner Yoga?

Inner Yoga is movement from the core of our being. Our body has the intelligence to know how it needs to move. The classical yoga postures or asanas developed from this intelligence. The structure developed for the asanas is known as Hatha Yoga. Inner yoga takes the classical asanas together with the philosophy and spiritual aspects of yoga and teaches them in a way that can transform the body, mind and emotions, touching the heart of our being.

What is the Inner Yoga Trust

The Inner Yoga Trust has charitable aims at its core. The school is governed by a trustee group. Colum Hayward is the Chair, and the other members are Lorraine Grocott and Natanje Holt.

Teachers

Jenny Beeken is the Principal and Director of the Trust. Pauline Sawyer is the Assistant Director.
Dawn Baillie, Will Lane, Sue Peggs, Sarah Waterfield and Bridget Whitehead run foundation courses for the Teacher Training Programme led by Jenny, Pauline and Sarah Waterfield.

Members

We currently have over 200 members who support the trust through their fees and voluntary activities - in return they get a reduction on booking fees for all our weekends and days (Offer excludes teacher training courses) and priority booking opportunities. Join the Inner Yoga Trust now

Administration

Sue Peggs is the Inner Yoga Trust manager, Patricia (Winkie) Harrison is the Financial Administrator and Ginny Tinkler is the General Administrator. The administration is supported by volunteers who give generously of their time.
