“In the insect world, the feet are the tongues for the moth!
Our feet receive and express our connection to our environment”
Body Stories; Andrea Olsen
In this workshop we will look at the anatomy of the feet and the ankles and to how they connect us to our environment. We will develop our understanding by using models – looking at pictures and slides and feeling the shape of model bones and joints. We will bring this into our practice of postures to develop a deeper awareness in our own bodies. There will be two short anatomy sessions: one in the morning looking at the structure of the bones and joints and one in the afternoon looking at the muscles.
