Movement, Breath and Sound with Sarah Waterfield
At this Yoga day we will move and relax the body with yoga postures so that the breath can be freer and deeper. We will explore Sanskrit and other sounds and may learn all or part of a mantra. Sarah brings the fluid, whole-body movement of Scaravelli Yoga together with the Yoga philosophy teaching from the Inner Yoga Trust and her own practice of Sanskrit, sound and mantra. Sarah has just completed an intensive two year course, with teachers from the ‘Sannidhi of Krishnamacharya Yoga’ in South India, and is now a qualified teacher of Vedic Chanting. Sarah’s approach to teaching yoga postures and sound is creative, serious yet light. She teaches intuitively, responding to the bodies, needs and wishes of the students on the day, so this day is suitable for all.
