This is a 60 hour non-residential Foundation Course taught over five 12 hour weekends. There is a focus on the different parts of the body, learning about anatomy as it applies to asanas (postures), whilst simultaneously working with whole body connections. There is a mix of asana practice and theoretical teaching of anatomy. Throughout the year, the course introduces students to the philosophy of yoga, pranayama (breathing practices) and the bandhas.
Please contact the course tutor Tina tinamoxon@hotmail.co.uk, for more information about the course or to register your place. IYT Members can attend any of the weekends as CPD (10 Points) or as a refresher.
